Power Barge I

March 97 to December 99The scope
of the job work includes:
- Consult,
supervise contractors, and install systems during
the over-haul of a 30 Megawatt portable power
plant.
- Design,
write and test the PLC ladder logic, HMI
graphical interface software (Cimplicity), touch
screen panels and integrate the total
system.
- Test
the plant including the boiler controls, burner
management and alarm systems plus the mechanical
systems (feed-pumps, condensate, and circulation
systems) in the shipyard.
- We
are presently on site in Barahona, Dominican
Republic assisting the operations crew in setting
up the plant and performing plant maintenance.
SS Alpena

The scope
of the job was as follows:
- Provide
all equipment, services and labor to install 2
fully redundant PLC based burner management
systems including all installation, testing, ABS
and US Coast Guard approvals and all services
required for system to be fully operational.
- Design,
write and test the software for the new system.
- Maintain
and tune the combustion control system.
- Add
Main engine and reduction gear bearing
monitoring, Bell logger and new shaft speed
indicators. Reconfigured the combustion controls
to full metering. Add a graphical interface
display system for alarming and trending.
USS Rushmore
For:
Electronic Design, Inc.
Dates:
September 1997 to May 1998
The scope
of the job included the following:
- Remove
existing Main propulsion and ship service
generator control systems. Install new Allen
Bradley based PLC system for the Navy Smart ship
control system.
- Integrate
the new system into the new ship network
including the communications and LAN setup for
bridge control, main control room and damage
control systems.
- Design,
write and test the software for the new system.
